Paint Party Friday

mini wine bottle-- watercolor

wine bottle/ picture from newspaper... I don't know why all of my portraits end up looking the same!

doodle page

watercolor...  "another world"

Here is what I've been up to this week.  The top two are basically sketches, not too happy with them, but I thought I'd show you what I've been doing this week for Paint Party Friday!

Oh!  And my little girl painted this week too:

Start 'em young...wonderful. The best dress for painting as well at her age! She looks to be having so much fun.
I love your 'another world'.

Hope the paint comes out of skin easily! I bought some 'bath paints' for my son when he was little and then had to scrub them off!!

Great paintings to share with us.

A budding artist! Love your watercolour doodles! Do your self-portraits look the same because they look like you??

Great Job Marcia! I think watercolor is tough, but love the effect. Your little girl is adorable and looks completely caught up in her project:) So sweet!

I really like the colors in the portrait. Actually, I like the colors in all of them. Love seeing your daughter becoming an artist, already. Sometimes I am so messy that I wish I could paint in just my undies, too! :D

Loving your work and your child is having the greatest fun, children adore painting and have no restraints which is fabulous. Have a great week, Annette x

Your mini watercolors are lovely!. Your daughter is certainly engaged. It's the memory of painting with fingerpaints in kindergarten, that got me hooked for life on art. Kudos to you for allowing her to play with paint. :-) Happy Belated PPF.
