Anatomy of an Art Journal Page

The other day I was able to finish up another art journal page while my darling two year old splashed around in the kiddie pool outside.  It is so nice to sit outside on days like today, nice warm weather, but not too hot.  Here is the "Anatomy of an Art Journal Page"!

Sounds like a win-win situation! Your daughter getting to play in the kiddie pool and you getting to work on your art journal!
Love how you show the "anatomy" of your art on your blog! My favorite parts are the cool homemade stickers! How did you make those?

Happy PPF!!

Hi Marcia,
I just wanted to stop by and thank you for the lovely postcard! it arrived in the mail yesterday and since it's the first on to arive I was especially excited. I'm thrilled to have a piece of your origonal art and am writing a blog post about the postcard swap as we speak. I will be showing all the postcards I receive once they all arrive. Thanks again.
Best,

Mary, I blogged about the stickers here: http://marciabeckett.blogspot.com/2012/03/woyww-homemade-stickers.html Although I didn't give much instructions. Basically I just made some digital text and images and then printed them out on large Avery label sheets. P.S. I just finished up your article with all the revisions. I interviewed Karey Kessler and Tofu as well and it's one big article about maps in art!

Thanks Jennifer! I was glad that you were one of the people I sent it to, because some of the others I did not know and it's nice to send it to someone you know online! I have received one postcard so far too!
