Updated my Blog

Hey, I'm excited!  I figured out how to make and edit "stand-alone" pages about me for my blog.  Go to my blog home page and then at the top there are different links you can click on to see "galleries" of my favorite art pieces.  yay!

another in progress journal page, because I can't have a picture-less post!

I've been trying to do this too and still can't figure out the right way. I have added the pages like you but with mine when you click on one of the links, it takes you to another page where just links of some of my garden pages are at??What am I doing wrong wonder. Oh well, I'll learn. Looks great!! Yay for you!

Hmm.. I don't know.. blogger is a weird thing! I'm still trying to figure out how to arrange pictures better.. they always do weird things when I try to arrange them.

I love stand alone pages, they are a wonderful complement to a blog, and yours are fantastic. They really show off the range of your work.

Hi there, Marcia! I think your new galleries are awesome! It seems we now have something else in common: our mutual interest in scrapbooking as an artistic record of personal history! I checked out your pages, as well as your art journals, and am so inspired!

I have a love-hate relationship with Blogger...why does it have to be so difficult sometimes, to do what you'd like on a blog? They could definitely make some of the features a bit more intuitive than they are!

To make a stand alone page, all you have to do is go to the posting section and Edit pages. Then click on New Page. I do love blogger and for the most part it suits my purposes. I want to make the posting part wider with more room for pictures across. Thanks everyone for your comments! Jenny, I started off scrapbooking, but I just couldn't make it all neat and perfect like the ones I saw in the books!

What a beautiful page! And I have to say I have also been thwarted by blogger in trying to set up the standalone pages. On my blog when it puts in the tabs to link to the pages, it messes up the look of my header. Grrr..
