Day 5 & 9 from One Drawing a Day

**I joined an artsy book club on Facebook.  It was started by another elementary art teacher but there are other artsy people in the group who are not teachers.  You should come join us!  We are just starting to work through the book One Drawing A Day: A 6-Week Course Exploring Creativity with Illustration and Mixed Media.**

Day 5's assignment was to create washes with diluted ink and pen on top.  The subjects were people or animals.  Here is what I came up with.

Day #9: Using a box of crayons trace your hand with a colored line and then decorate it. Add numbers and letters. Think of symbols that you liked when you were young: stars, hearts, cars, flowers — anything goes!

That little seal is so cute! Look forward to see what more drawings will come of this.

Wonderful work! Love the simplicity of the ink drawings, and the colours of your hand ♥
